We hope you are staying safe & healthy. We are currently open via phone & email during normal business hours. We just have our lobby closed to the public. We want to just let everyone know if you have any lost, reduced hours or have been laid off due to the Covid-19 Pandemic to apply right away for unemployment benefits. The state has special funds for those affected and loosing any wages. Even if you just have reduced hours you will still be eligible. During this pandemic they are doing the unemployment differently and have different qualifications than the regular unemployment guidelines. For accounts established March 1, 2020 and later, there is no non-payable week due to the Governor’s executive order in response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus). All you need to do is request a payment for each week you are unemployed or have lost hours/wages.

The state/congress has approved a stimulus check for all most everyone that you should receive in the next few weeks, if your federal return was direct deposit the stimulus check will be deposited to that account & if you did not have direct deposit you will get a check in the mail which could take a little longer to receive. They have also approved to give funds meeting most of your current wages for unemployment, so it is not just the regular 2/3rds of your income you will get and on top of that you could get additional $600 weekly unemployment. The state urges you to use the tools available to help during this uncertain time.
